2017 Awards Categories

The 2017 Education Estates Awards will be open for entries from Monday 24 April to Friday 21 July (all categories are free to enter). Qualifying period for each award is 1 January 2016 to 30 June 2017.

Category Sponsor: ATKINS

Criteria: This award will be made to a team working in the education sector who can demonstrate outstanding achievement, performance and delivery of estates and facilities services.

Category Sponsor: Galliford Try

Criteria: This award recognises a University which has undertaken an estates investment that significantly improves the experience of students at the University.

Criteria: This award recognises innovation that has helped contribute to value in school, college or university design.

Category Sponsor: Arcadis

Criteria: This award recognises an educational institution (school, college or university) that has used its building asset in a way that delivers a different and innovative way of teaching and learning.

Criteria: This award recognises the team that has successfully delivered a refurbishment. Entries must clearly state who the client was, the architect(s) and contractor(s) involved and the wider team.

Colleges & Universities

Schools

Criteria: This award recognises the project team that has successfully delivered a new build. Entries must clearly state who the client was, the architect(s) and contractor(s) involved and the wider project team.

Criteria: This award recognises the passion, direction and innovation that a school, college, university or local authority has shown in either a new build or refurbishment.

Category Sponsor: VELUX

Criteria: This award recognises a main contractor who have demonstrated outstanding work in the education sector over the last 12 months.

Awards Dinner Video 2017

The 2017 Education Estates Awards are now open for entries until Friday 30 June (all categories are free to enter). Qualifying period for each award is 1 January 2016 to 30 June 2017. You are required to submit 250 words on the entry, a further 50 words on why the entry should win and at least one image of the entry alongside any further supporting documents.

Criteria: This award recognises an architectural practice who have demonstrated excellence in delivering value and exciting projects in the education sector over the last 12 months.

Criteria: This award recognises a multi-disciplinary consultancy or construction consultants (including building or quantity surveyors and project management companies) who have demonstrated outstanding work in the education sector over the last 12 months.
